Hot Water Hills Music and Arts Festival is coming!

Make plans to be in Hot Springs Oct. 5-6 for the 2012 Hot Water Hills Music and Arts Festival!  Held at Hill Wheatley Plaza in downtown Hot Springs, this event will include an eclectic array of music and arts.  The music will range from zydeco, to folk, to indie rock to “gypsy-punk-country-grumble-boogie”.  Check the music schedule to make sure you don’t miss out on your favorite!
Artisans will show off their talents ranging from musical instruments to wooden pendants to chair massages.  Larkmartin Soaps, used at Tiffany’s Bed and Breakfast, will be featuring their handcrafted soaps and luxury bath products as well.  There will also be a Cardboard City contest, where teams will design and build a cardboard structure for cash prizes.
The 2012 Hot Water Hills Music and Arts Festival will strive to earn a Keep America Beautiful Zero Waste Event certification this year.  That means that they must generate less than 10 pounds of of landfill waste over the entire two day festival!  Nearly everything in the event will be reused, recycled, borrowed, composted or packed in and packed out.  Festivals are notoriously wasteful events which produce tons of paper litter, food scraps, bottles, cans and trash.  The activities team, food and beverage vendors, musicians and artisans have all pledged to “Do Something Beautiful” to make this the cleanest event ever in Hot Springs!
If you want to enjoy a weekend full of music, arts, and sustainability, make your reservations for October 5-6 at Tiffany’s Bed and Breakfast.  October is a busy time in the Hot Springs area, so start planning your trip now!
