Want more ideas on what to do after dark in Hot Springs? Oaklawn Racing and Gaming’s final concert in this year’s Finish Line Theater series will be October 25, 2012. The 2001 CMA Vocal Group of the Year, Lonestar, will take the stage at 7pm that Thursday.
The Finish Line Theater has been created by blocking off part of Oaklawn’s indoor grandstands during racing’s off season. Tickets prices are $19.95 and $29.95. We recommend requesting seats in the center two sections of the theater for the best view – or just ask us to make your reservations for you when you book your stay at Tiffany’s Bed and Breakfast!
If you miss the concert, Oaklawn Racing and Gaming also offers year round fun in their newly remodeled gaming facility (we can’t call it a “casino” in Arkansas!). Table games, reel games (look like slot machines to me), and a poker room are all waiting to take your money with the promise of “hitting it big”. If you’ve had your share of winning (or donating), you can take a break in Pop’s Lounge and enjoy some live music from a local band. Oaklawn is open until 3 a.m. Sunday -Thursday, and until 5 a.m. Friday and Saturday. But you may not want to stay quite that late, or you might miss Breakfast at Tiffany’s the next morning!
