Eagle Tours Return to DeGray Lake

Now that the weather is getting cooler and the leaves are dropping, the bald eagles are returning to DeGray Lake!  Whether you’re an avid bird watcher or just a novice, you won’t want to miss the Eagle Tours during your stay at our Arkansas bed and breakfast.  Tours are offered most Saturdays and Sundays during the winter months.

Your tour will be guided by a DeGray Lake State Park interpreter.  You’ll search the lake shore for bald eagles and other wintering birds.  Bring binoculars if you have them, as the eagles are sometimes shy. On other days, they’ll soar right over the boat giving you a “bird’s eye” view!  Dress warmly as it’s usually colder on the water than on land.  Tour reservations can be made the day prior at 501-865-5850, and admission is $9 for adults.  For an intense weekend of eagle watching and celebration, plan to attend Eagles et Cetera on January 24-26, 2014!
