World's Shortest St. Patrick's Day Parade in Hot Springs 2026

The Shortest Parade, The Biggest Fun, and The Best Place to Stay!

What do actor Carmen Electra, American Ninja Warrior host Matt Iseman, Chicago Bears legend Dan Hampton, and the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders all have in common? They will all be part of the First Ever 23rd Annual World's Shortest St. Patrick's Day Parade on March 17, 2026, in Hot Springs, AR! If you’re looking for the ultimate home base for the festivities, our bed and breakfast is just minutes from the action. Bridge Street, the World’s Shortest Street in Everyday Use (and recently painted Kelly green!), is only 98 feet long, but it’s packed with enough quirkiness to fill a whole week.

The Race for the Rest of Us: The Zero K

Before the parade officially kicks off, the Bridge Street LIVE! Entertainment district opens at 3:00 pm. At 4:00 pm, one of the most hilarious traditions begins: The 5th Ever World's Shortest St. Patrick's Day Zero K Race.

If you've ever wanted to run a race without actually running, this is for you! It’s a grueling 299-foot "dash" that requires zero training or athletic ability. In fact, there is even a hydration station at the halfway mark (filled with BEER) to ensure no one gets dehydrated during the 30-second trek. Every step benefits Tri-Lakes CASA, helping stand up for foster children in the Hot Springs area. You’ll even receive a finisher's medal at registration to prove your "athleticism," and since outrageous costumes are encouraged, there will be prizes for the greenest and most Irish! After the race, the party continues at O’Kelley’s World’s Largest Inflatable Pop-Up Pub at the intersection of Convention Blvd. and Malvern Ave.

A Morning at Tiffany’s, An Evening on Bridge Street

Because Bridge Street is so short, the best viewing spots go fast. That’s why we recommend checking into our Hot Springs, AR bed and breakfast on Monday.

Choosing a stay at Tiffany's Bed and Breakfast means you get the best of both worlds: the high-energy excitement of a world-famous celebration and a quiet, private escape to return to when you’re ready for some peace. Located on sixty acres of peaceful woodland just outside of town, you can wake up to the gentle sounds of nature rather than the bustle of the city.

On St. Patrick’s Day morning, we’ll serve a signature "Breakfast at Tiffany’s" with a special Irish flair to get you fueled for the day. After breakfast, you might want to sneak back upstairs for a short nap or enjoy a quiet walk on our wooded trails to save up your energy. Our property provides a serene sanctuary, allowing you to fully recharge before you head downtown for the heart of the action—from the Zero K and the official measuring of the route to the grand parade itself, and finally the free Molly Ringwalds concert that caps off the night!

Spring Into Hot Springs: Make it a Getaway While the parade is a bucket-list event, March is one of the most breathtaking times to be in the Hot Springs area. We encourage you to turn your parade trip into a multi-day spring vacation. Between the blooming dogwoods, the mild temperatures, and the crystal-clear lakes, there is so much to explore.

From the historic Bathhouse Row to the scenic hiking trails that surround us, spring is the season to unwind. To see what else is blooming and happening in the area, check out our Springtime in Hot Springs Guide.

Don't Miss the Magic The official measuring of the parade route happens at 6:25 pm, followed by the main event. You’ll see everything from the world’s tallest leprechaun to Irish belly dancers and quirky floats. EVERYBODY is Irish in Hot Springs on St. Patrick's Day! Don't forget to pack something green (the more outrageous, the better!), and join us for the short parade with the really long name.

Many neighboring states are on spring break that week, so plan your Arkansas getaway soon!
