One of our favorite Hot Springs restaurants may not be considered a “typical restaurant”. In fact, Dolce Gelato has been named the “Best Ice Cream Parlor in the State” by USA Today. But they offer a product far superior to ice cream, AND they offer a full coffee bar.
“Gelato” is an Italian ice cream with no butter or eggs, less sugar, and is low in fat and calories. All the gelato here is made from scratch. 27 out of 60+ flavors are offered each day. All their flavors are delicious, but my absolute favorite is Amaretto. How can something this delicious be low in fat and calories? Seems impossible!
Dolce Gelato is located in the Cornerstone Shopping Center, between Chik-fil-A and Lowe’s. That’s right off Central Avenue at the Hwy 270 by-pass. They are open Monday through Thursday from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday until 11pm for those late night cravings before you head back to Tiffany’s Bed and Breakfast.
